Brief Introduction of Prof. Dr. Xiaohong ZHANG Since 2006 Prof. Dr. Xiaohong ZHANG has been a full professor of the School of Geodesy and Geomatics at Wuhan University, China. He has been actively involved in many aspects of positioning and navigation since 1997, including precise GNSS positioning algorithm development, ionosphere modeling, and software development. He developed a versatile Precise Point Positioning software, named TriP, which has been widely applied in industry applications. He has contributed to more than 100 journal papers, and presentations on geodesy and navigation, and has been awarded more than 30 research grants. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Geodesy from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping, China in 1997; a Master of Engineering in Geodesy from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping, China in 1999 and a Doctor of Engineering in Geodesy and Geomatics from Wuhan University, China in 2002. His current research interests include GNSS precise point positioning, GPS/MET, GPS/INS integration and ionosphere modeling. Selected Publications: 1.
